Who we are looking for

We are searching for a shipping clerk with significant hands-on experience and practical manufacturing knowledge to join our growing team. This position will include processing products through final operations for shipment to customer, stock in the warehouse or movement to another CDI facility. Other assignments in the department may include marking, inventory, and inspection projects.
What you will get to do

Sorting of incoming products to determine routing of shipping, stock, or transfer to other CDI facility.
Generate all shipping documents including bill of lading, commercial invoice, pack list, barcode labels and certificate of conformance.
Create and prioritize customer delivery schedules.
Pull in and process expedited orders on a tight schedule.
Inventory control activities such as item stocking locations, cycle counts and item search and recovery functions.
Tow-motor and order picker operation.

What you bring to the team

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have 1-12 month of shipping and warehouse experience.
FedEx, UPS and other shipping software experience and knowledge is preferred.
Ability to coordinate with LTL carriers.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational skills.
Accuracy in counting items received in shipping.
Ability to communicate with vendors via email or phone.
Ability to read blueprints.
