Job Summary
As a Server, you'll command a busy floor, guiding guests through the complete dining experience by advising on menu selections and drink pairings. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of service for the guests from the beginning to the end of the meal. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!Duties and responsibilities include: Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service Demonstrate menu knowledge and sales skills, answering questions, and making suggestions Relay orders correctly to the kitchen and bar Communicate with other staff and management regarding all aspects of service Complete all side work as assigned Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Minimum of 1-year server experience Active Food Handlers certifications preferred Excellent customer service and people skills Good working knowledge of beverages and a willingness to learn more Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively Ability to read menus, safety documents, etc. Prior experience with POS systems High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Benefits and Perks: Health Benefits, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays for Full Time Employees Gym, Restaurant, and Retail Discounts Wine Education Reimbursement Referral Incentives Volunteer Opportunities Career Advancement Opportunities Bus and Ski Pass Discounts Sick Pay Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
