Senior Project Architect Position Overview: The Senior Project Architect plays a critical role in ensuring projects are designed and managed in the most efficient way. They are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the entire design process, from initial concept through to completion, and ensuring successful project delivery. They will provide project guidance to the team and serve as a technical resource for the design staff.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design process for projects, from conceptual design through construction documents and implementation. Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Perform design reviews and ensure design intent is being met. Communicate design intent to the entire team. Manage the development of construction documents. Provide technical guidance to other project architects. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Maintain effective working relationships with contractors and vendors. Inspect project sites to ensure design is implemented correctly. Qualifications: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a role related to architecture or multifamily design. A professional license from the AIA or similar professional organization. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent relationship building and management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
