Overview of job:The Senior MMIS Project Manager will conduct project management activities to support the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO).Job Responsibilities Include:Leading, managing, coordinating, and reporting on multiple projects of varying levels of size and complexity over their full life cycle, from origination through closeout in accordance with the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and/or New York State (NYS) project management guidelines and project governanceCoordinating and driving cross-functional project teams, assess resource needs, and develop detailed project plans and schedules to ensure on-time completion of projectsManaging a project team with minimal guidance and oversightEffectively reviewing and communicating feedback for a project team's work and performance in a timely mannerFacilitating decision making between project team membersMonitoring and controlling project scope, schedule, budget and resources in order to meet objectives and commitmentsIdentifying, developing and maintaining positive relationships with Project Sponsor and stakeholders and ability to influence matrixed resourcesProactively identifying, documenting and resolving issues and risks with project team and escalating appropriatelyProviding regular status reports highlighting accomplishments, plans and issues to project team members and senior managementWorking with the EPMO administration to promote proper project management practices, including the recommendation of process improvementsReviewing project deliverables to ensure compliance with requirements and standardsBasic QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of project management experience leading projects of various sizesBachelor's degree in Management, Business or Information TechnologyProfessional (PMP) or Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification50% on site in Albany, NYRequested QualificationsFamiliarity with Microsoft applications including Project, Office, SharePoint and TeamsFamiliarity with Medicaid and/or health insurance industry policies, processes and systemsAbility to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form, to collaborate and engage as a high performing team member with the EPMO and client teamsWhere required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $81,000 - 120,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
