Job summary
Cycle CPA is an innovative and expanding online bookkeeping and CFO firm looking for a remote Senior Accountant to join our virtual team.Opportunity to work with multiple clients in the green industry and other service-based businesses.Work remotely and have a better work-life balance.

Responsibilities
• Handle bookkeeping through QuickBooks and other accounting software for multiple companies.• Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on a monthly and as needed basis.• Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, and video chat software.• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations.• Prepare financial reports through data collection, analysis, and summarization.• Assist with job costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition for controller and CFO clients.• Help clients with payroll setup and use of payroll software.• Assist clients in the onboarding stage and with accounting/bookkeeping work.• Proactively address and respond to potential issues.• Set up and maintain advanced forecasting and budgeting for clients.• Train and assist Cycle CPA accounting staff.• Must meet deadlines.
Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with QuickBooks.• Minimum 3 years of experience working with multiple clients.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business preferred.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Comfortable using technology and learning new online software.• Enjoy working with entrepreneurial business people.• QuickBooks Certification (nice to have).• 1 year of remote work experience (nice to have).• Experience working with green industry clients or service-based businesses (nice to have).
