Senior Accountant.
Location:

Miami, Florida - 3 days per week onsite.
Salary:

$100,000 - $120,000.

My client is a high-growth start-up making waves in the FinTech space. Their commitment to innovation and excellence has positioned them as a leader in the market. As they continue their rapid expansion, they're on the lookout for a talented Senior Accountant to join their finance team.

As a Senior Accountant at, you'll be instrumental in managing their financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance in all accounting activities. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you'll oversee various accounting functions such as financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and stakeholders.
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in line with GAAP standards.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and promptly address any discrepancies or issues.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and assist with audits as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth start-up environment.
Proficient in accounting software, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in NetSuite.
Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to resolve complex accounting issues.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and levels.
Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects and initiatives.
