Lotus Cars USA is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus products in the US region. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager Merchandise in the Sales Department to join us in our US HQ based Texas.
Summary: The Merchandise Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our merchandising operations, from product development and sourcing to inventory management and retail partnerships.

Fundamental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the role include merchandise (products and revenue), retail sales, and network expansion.
Roles and responsibilities: Open up North America market by establishing business/contractual relationships both within Lotus group network and outside in specified regions within expected timeframe. Undertake market analysis on North America market including segmentation, current & future competitors, product profile & pricing, potential market share etc. Creation and implementation of sales and marketing plan to achieve organic growth in assigned regions. Propose optimization plan based on market feedback and Lotus product portfolio and strategy to increase market share and revenue targets in North America market. Create sales opportunities, differentiate products and create packages to help company optimizing operations and maximizing profitability Work with retailers and distributor partners to achieve the volume & profitability targets in assigned regions. Manage and evaluate merchandise assortment and research sales potential Create item and category planning; evaluate assortments and update as needed Utilize promotional tools to improve sales and promotion performance Maintain accurate merchandise inventories; identify and qualify out-of-stock items Maintain accurate and timely reporting for upper management Conduct established retailer audit process, with monthly retailer visit reports filed in a central location. Responsibility for debtor management, acting to avoid or address overdue retailer balances from merchandise perspective Liaison with the Network Development, Marketing, ASO divisions to ensure delivery against the KPIs identified Produce, report and present qualitative and quantitative performance analysis of the sales region, incorporating macroeconomic data, competitor performance as well as any other external variables as appropriate Essential Criteria: Sales and marketing background High-end merchandising or fashion industry background required with 5+ years of merchandising management. Extensive networking within high-end merchandising or fashion industry. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Good under pressure. Able to handle multiple challenges simultaneously. Ability to work within a highly entrepreneurship corporate environment with culture diversity. Balanced individual with strong interpersonal abilities and networking skills; effective written and verbal communicator, results-driven and commercially orientated Outgoing, driven, flexible, team ethos Proven track record of delivering results in a commercial environment 50% travel required Desirable Criteria: Degree qualified, ideally business or finance disciplines Language skills and international business experience
