Sales Business Development Engineer

Job Summary: Responsible for working with our customers and creating / maintaining statements of work (SOW) quote data sheets (QDS) purchase orders and maintaining various customer documents. Also creating implementing and maintaining various templates capability plans/updates and creating written processes with the business development team contracts department engineers and all levels of management. Core focus includes controlling engineering documents maintenance of data including engineering and/or customer change requests. Provide full support within all manufacturing departments and organization to serve as a technical resource while maintaining positive employee relations teamoriented problem solving and accountability skills. Job Responsibilities: Assist with engineering projects and support improvement. Develop and explore new methods of engineering procedures address organizationalwide continuous improvement initiatives and report progress/findings to management. Provide resources and solutions to engineering department and manufacturing process problems. Understand and apply materials manufacturing processes (lean manufacturing principles). Ensure repeatable product quality and ontime delivery to our customer base. Assist in the development and implementation of corrective action. Provide superior technical aerospace/engineering expertise at trade shows customer visits etc. Qualifications: Required Bachelors Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 13 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibilities. Must have excellent MS Office Software experience. Familiar with AS 9100/ ISO 9001 and/or aerospace level quality systems is a plus. Knowledge and experience with ERP / MRP software is a plus. Expert in Router Implementation Travel 12 times per month (domestic and abroad)
