Role Overview:
As a Retail Buyer, you'll play a crucial role in our operations by curating an exciting and diverse product assortment for our retail locations. You'll build strong relationships with vendors, manage inventory levels, and collaborate with various teams to ensure our stores are well-stocked with the latest and most desired products.
Responsibilities:
Develop demand plans and forecast product needs for multiple retail locations.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and sourcing products.
Manage purchase orders, invoices, and inventory tracking to ensure timely deliveries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product introductions, promotions, and pricing strategies.
Work closely with leadership to analyze sales data and optimize product assortment.
Stay informed about industry trends, new vendors, and market competition.
Travel periodically to retail stores to ensure product availability and quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems a plus.
Passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to stay informed about market trends.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a background check.
