Join the Hive! Busy Bees Pottery & Arts Studio is seeking a team member to lead our team in creative fun. Part or full time. Days and evenings, must be available on the weekends every weekend and two evenings a week. Scheduling availability must be flexible for our various needs; open studio time, off-site events, special events & after hour parties when needed.
The Resident Artist/Studio Assistant works closely with the studio manager and owner and has the ability to be flexible and multi-task. A love for people of all ages and all things creative is required; you will be responsible for working with and teaching a broad range of art enthusiasts. Ceramics experience and an art background whether it be formally taught or self taught is required.
Must have exceptional customer service skills, enjoy working with the public and children, and be mature, friendly and outgoing. Reliability is necessary and the position requires a valid driver's license and mode of transportation. Cash register experience preferred. Previous work in retail sales or restaurant business is also preferred. Standing, bending, must be able to lift 35+ lbs. Cleaning up after people. Must be able to pass background check. We are family oriented business and are looking for someone to be part of our hive.
