Responsibilities
• Concentrating on R&D and product development of new diagnostics and sensors for gas turbine engines• Performing in-house laboratory experiments and field-testing at military and manufacturer locations• Developing and applying advanced methods in FT-IR emission/absorption spectroscopy, laser diagnostics, and high-speed radiometry• Contributing to new research grant proposals
Requirements
• BS/MS/Ph.D. degrees in engineering, computer science, or other technical fields• U.S. citizenship required
Key Skills Needed
• Strong technical background• Research and experimental design• Software design and testing• Knowledge of FT-IR emission/absorption spectroscopy, laser diagnostics, and high-speed radiometry
