We are seeking a  Research Data Analyst who will work in the Department of Mental Health, assisting Faculty/Principal Investigators in overseeing data management and consent collection on several grand-funded projects. Projects are broadly focused on adolescent mental health, particularly for Baltimore City youth. Project topics include positive youth development, resilience to structural racism, risk factors for mental health problems, critical consciousness, with a focus on school interventions and/or community partnerships.

Specific Duties & Responsbilities Track data collection for all participant surveys and monitor study recruitment progress and participant consent. Program, distribute, and track online surveys using REDCap. Create, label, and score datasets using Excel, SPSS, and SAS/STATA. Create and maintain detailed codebooks. Assist PI/COI's with measure/questionnaire design. Develop/maintain SOP's for data collection procedures. Follow up with participants when needed to confirm data provided and get project consent. Interact with collaborators to ensure secure and appropriate data transfer, including de-identification of data sets as required. Perform descriptive, inferential, and exploratory statistical analyses using techniques including linear regression, logistic regression, ANOVA, t-tests, correlations, and Chi-square tests with SPSS, SAS, and R. Mentor and provide guidance to team members regarding study design and data analysis when preparing journal articles and conference preparations. Communicate data analysis plans and research findings with principal and co-investigators. Attend team meetings and contribute updates on data collection progress. Assist/Lead in the development and presentation of conference and manuscript publications. Other project-related tasks will be assigned as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. Three years related experience. Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or a related discipline. Expertise in SPSS, SAS/STATA, RedCAP. Detail-oriented, has initiative and good communication skills.
