Responsibilities
• Conduct payroll audits and regulatory compliance audits• Track time and attendance• Manage payroll reporting and payroll system• Provide compliance training and maintain record keeping• Ensure labor law compliance• Manage payroll vendor and develop policies• Administer benefits and handle payroll closing process• Represent company during acquisitions or divestitures• Perform other assigned duties, special assignments, and projects
Requirements
• High school education and related experience required• Payroll and/or HR certification or degree preferred• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills• Ability to work independently and take initiative• Maintain integrity with sensitive and confidential information• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills• Proficient with office equipment and software applications• Ability to travel 75%+ of the time within New Mexico
