Responsibilities

This position is accountable for operating the x-ray rooms, portables, and CT Scanner in a safe and proficient manner.
Transportation of patients, handling telephone calls for scheduling patients, answering questions related to reports of exams.
Knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy and positioning are essential for a quality exam.
Must be able to handle multiple demands simultaneously and keep a helpful attitude towards patients, their families, office personnel, physicians, and associates.
Must be able to coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible.
BLS certification required
