Responsibilities
• Provide exceptionally friendly customer service to shoppers and donors• Perform basic housekeeping tasks on the sales floor, donation center, and production area• Safeguard company property and equipment• Adhere to security policies and enforce regulations• Assist in other store functions, cross-train in all areas• Operate cash register, handle payments, and issue tax-deductible receipts• Pack or wrap customer purchases• Replenish merchandise on store fixtures• Maintain neat and attractively merchandised displays• Conduct periodic inventory and remove poor quality or damaged merchandise
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED preferred• Retail or similar experience preferred• Physical ability to stand, move around, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift objects up to 50 pounds• Basic computer skills and phone communication• Ability to count change and operate a cash register• Drug screen may be required• Comfortable working in a retail store environment, with some minimal exposure to outdoor elements
