We're Concept Laboratories - a leader in developing and manufacturing products for the world's top beauty brands. For 25+ years, we've worked with brands big and small, mass and prestige, established and emerging, to innovate clean and naturally effective skin/body, hair, and home care products. In addition to contract manufacturing, we own several brands that we sell to retailers and through e-commerce. The Role
Responsible for writing, documenting, formulating, and batching skin and hair care products. The position will report directly to the Director of R&D and will be responsible for not only formulating, but also assisting with scale up in production as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Passion for the personal care industry and cosmetic products
· Develop new and/or improved formulations and procedures
· Document specifications (pH, viscosity, SPG) on batches to ensure batch-to-batch consistency
· Batch bulk product for safety and stability testing
· Coordinate shipment of products for safety and stability testing
· Assist with quality control as needed when issues arise that are related to the formula
· Participate in customer calls as needed
· Maintain records in organized manner
· Willing to assist with other departments (regulatory, sales, product development, etc.) as needed
· Maintain records in organized manner Required Skills

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
· Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, word, ERP, etc)

Bachelor's in related field with 2-4 years of experience

This position provides a unique opportunity to learn under a team with over fifteen years of combined e-commerce experience while offering hands-on experience in a rapidly growing industry. We have grown tremendously in the past two years and are moving to Pleasant Prairie WI. November 2024.
