Quality Engineer
A global leader in molding technologies has a need for a Quality Engineer to ensure products and services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. The Quality Engineer will drive continuous improvement and optimization of all manufacturing processes to meet short and long-range plans using the most economical and productive methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science (B.S) (Required)
* Any Quality Certification (Preferred)
* Minimum 3 years' experience with ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems (QMS).
* Trained and/or 2 years plus years' experience leading and/or involved with Continuous Improvement & Kaizen projects.
* Trained with 3 plus years experienced with AIAG core tools.
* Experience working with suppliers. supplier scorecards, evals, supplier audits.
* Internal and or external audit experience.
* Read and understand blueprints and along with CAD inspection reports.
* Microsoft Office - Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word skills
* Experience with ERP systems (i.e.: Epicor, E2, Plex, etc.)
* Ability to work independently or in a group setting.
* Must be able to distinguish and detect information such as writing and defects - Frequently
* Use of safe practices PPE in production environment
* Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
* Experience with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) - A PLUS
* Knowledge of tooling & molding - A PLUS
* Experience & knowledge of GD&T - A PLUS
* Experience running a CMM - A PLUS
* Knowledge & experience with SolidWorks - A PLUS
