Pay rate: $26.00 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
What's a typical day as a Purchasing Coordinator? You'll be:
• Overseeing and performing all purchasing activities for raw materials, indirect production supplies, non-production supplies, and freight
• Monitoring and placing purchase orders for primary and secondary materials
• Establishing, coordinating, and enforcing spending budgets
• Negotiating pricing with vendors
• Monitoring inventory levels to ensure constant supply
• Developing and executing purchasing strategies concurrent with overall company strategy
• Supporting and promoting company core values
• Adhering to company safety programs and regulations
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have 2-5 years of purchasing experience
• Have a Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Have experience in a manufacturing environment
• Are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and have the ability to quickly learn other systems/software packages
