Psychologist

Adelphi is seeking a School Psychologist to work with students to address learning and/or behavioral issues for a school district located in Yakima- Washington. The Psychologist will provide appropriate psychological services to students of the school district through psychological evaluations and analysis, individual and group intervention, behavioral observations and consultations.

Requirements: • Master's Degree or equivalent.
• ESA School Psychologist certificate.
• Advance Professional Certificate as a School Psychologist from a National Association of School Psychologist (NASP) approved program.
• Active license to practice in Washington.

Responsibilities: • Assess referred students for special education through appropriate testing and diagnostic practice.
• Interpret testing results and implications to school staff, parents and students as needed.
• Writes psychological reports and completes eligibility reports.
• Confers with teachers and parents through conducting classroom observations and
• Provide feedback, participating in student support meetings, and assisting in collaborative problem-solving.
• Contributes to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP)
