In this position, you will be a member of the Markit! Business Development Team. This role will support our Regional Sales and Estimation staff on the administration of bid management, reviews, and proposals. Location: Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Travel: 10 – 15% Duties: Review RFPs and summarize response requirements, including development of a compliance matrix and proposal outline. Working with the team, develop a simple response plan that assigns writing assignments per the outline, defines response content by section, and establishes deadlines. Work with the team to develop response content and track team progress based on the compliance matrix and proposal outline. Maintain templates and tools that support efficient response to opportunities. Utilize stock graphics to better communicate concepts, processes and workflows. Review and edit content submitted by others. Assess compliance with RFP requirements and clarity of message. Participate in proposal review activities and meetings. Assemble proposal for management review and final submission. Work collaboratively with sales staff, estimators and operations staff to develop timely responses to RFPs. Support development for presentations, infographics, LinkedIn or related content, and support multimedia outreach efforts. Complete data entry into CRM. Other administrative duties as needed. Requirements: Excellent written communication skills, including grammar and punctuation. Mastery of processes and programs to develop effective proposals, including content and graphics. Strong communication skills with the ability to work with diverse staff. Organized and stellar time management skills. Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines. Preferred Background & Experience: Undergraduate degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or a related field. 1+ years of experience as a marketing or proposal coordinator. Knowledge of proposal development process. Experience entering and maintaining data in CRM. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Illustrator, InDesign and/or related programs.
