POSITION DESCRIPTION Support creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, and monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against the plans
Support creation and coordination of project effort hours, and cost estimates and budgets, and monitoring progress and cost performance against these
Coordinate the preparation, delivery and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages
Support coordination between design, procurement, material management and construction on technical and schedule requirements
Assist the Project Director/Project Manager (PD/PM) in performing tasks as assigned
Coordinate and prepare for internal and client project and design reviews
Support the interface and communications with the clients technical staff
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 7 or more years' experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Prior experience as a Project Engineer and creating schedules, cost estimates, budgets, etc. Ability to work in a diverse work environment, Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening. Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values. Must be a US Citizen. Must have working knowledge of Federal (including DOE) and State code applicable to engineering design.
LOCATION
Position will be on-site in Houston, TX with occasional travel to Aiken, SC as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled consisting of a 4/10 schedule. SALARY AND BENEFITS
