Our EBIT Applications Systems team supports the business, ranging from design, engineering, planning, supply chain, and finance, all the way down to the manufacturing shop floor, including the systems and tools they use to do their job. This is an exciting role with a broad spectrum of work ranging from, but not limited to IT:
Software Change Requests IPDE Program Tasks Applications Projects Subject Matter Expert (SME) Support The current business needs and demands are ever rapidly changing and require an agile, flexible, analytical candidate.
As a team member, you will:
Analyze and learn business software and processes Understand and translate business needs into system requirements Investigate data to understand and document issues/enhancements Work with various software development teams to drive implementation of innovative software solutions Drive cross functional teams and challenge the status quo Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets Utilize verification and validation techniques to ensure software deliverables are high quality and meet customer needs Provide IT SME support towards highly visible or critical production issues You will be expected to ask questions, communicate openly, and get out of your seat and comfort zone.
Required: High school diploma or equivalent 5 years or more: Experience with business/systems analysis Experience in application development and deployment processes Experience in requirements gathering and documentation Experience in identification of regression testing identification Experience in acceptance testing documentation Internal candidates must come from organizations outside of operations (Gildart/Gabriel).
