Product Safety Compliance Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will work within the Umarex USA and Walther Arms Product Safety program that includes the following:
Gather and organize documents related to compliance, such as BOM, SDS documents, and testing documents on the products we sell. Work with retailers and online platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and other retailers to answer requests for compliance documents. Implement strategies and draft communications to our supplier community to obtain related compliance documents. Work cross functionally in our business partners systems to upload relevant documents (Monday.com; Amplifi) Create SOPs/Standard documents on compliance / legal requirements for products that include, but are not limited to: Battery Compliance, Chemical requirements, DOT shipping requirements, ASTM/ voluntary standards, etc. Other duties and projects as assigned within the Safety & Compliance Department QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Strong communication and leadership skills; Focused on execution and results; Organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously; Work cross-functionally to improve processes; and Bonus, if you have legal research skills and the ability to interpret legal requirements and determine business impact. Preferred Qualifications:
