We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Innovation and Strategy team. This position will play a pivotal role in bringing to life products and experiences that are desirable by customers, feasible to create, and viable for the bank.
A successful candidate will have: A strategic mindset to distill complex information into a coherent path forward Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn about customers and industry trends A willingness to experiment, fail, and iterate Confident and articulate verbal/written communication skills Drive and resilience to improve the bank to better serve customers Adaptability to adjust to changing circumstances An ability to build trust and influence without direct authority An understanding of and commitment to our values Essential functions of the role: Research Proactively stay up to date on trends related to customer behavior, competitive activity, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies Use insights to contribute to the bank's product roadmap and/or company strategy Product Discovery Use input from customer insights, data, industry, and company strategy to find customer problems worth solving Effectively leverage Design Thinking principles through the product discovery: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test Ensure desirability, feasibility, and viability of product concepts Define product requirements, features, and specifications Conduct product design, including buy/build analysis Construct and communicate effective business cases Product Delivery Drive cross-functional execution of identified solutions, including Go-to-Market approach Partner with stakeholders such as Risk/Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Data, Operations, Sales, and external vendor partners to deliver products Ensure effective communication, alignment, and collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders through the entire product development lifecycle Stakeholder Collaboration Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders Advocate for the bank and its customers to ensure products meet customer needs Lead cross-functional teams towards goals without having direct formal authority Requirements Bachelors degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education 5+ years in banking, finance, technology, product, or similar Experience generating effective product insights from customer conversations and surveys required Understanding of financial products and concepts required Basic data analysis proficiency preferred Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software required Benefits In addition to a competitive salary and benefits, Emprise offers professional growth, a rewarding and challenging environment, opportunities to be involved in our communities, and a culture of integrity, passion, and success.
