We have an immediate opening for a Principal Systems Analyst who will support USAF C3BM and Joint IAMD initiatives in the Washington, DC metro area. This will be a high visibility position for Capstone Research Corporation with a significant opportunity for growth. Salary for this position will depend on experience.
Key Responsibilities Support high-visibility critical aspects of DBMN/TOC-L, ABAD, homeland air defense and joint air defense programs and initiatives. Develop and execute system architecture and design, systems documentation, systems requirements, and systems verification. Provide direct systems engineering support and coordinate (lead and oversee) engineering support services with team members to serve the technical needs of the program. Develop and execute integrated test plans for the efforts. Manage the effort to include staffing and associated budget. Coordinate efforts of multiple government and industry partners Provide periodic program reviews and technical presentations to high-ranking Government stakeholders. Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Develop and execute a growth strategy for the USAF, Air National Guard and Army Guard Air Defense organizations engaged in joint BMC3 and IAMD efforts by identifying customer needs and revenue sources that can be leveraged with company capabilities. Requirements: Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex system-of-systems integration efforts from initial concept definition through integration and test, incorporating complex threat scenarios. Experience running complex system-of-systems programs/projects across their lifecycle from concept definition through fielding and sustainment. Experience with and in-depth knowledge of DoD operations, concepts, and technologies. Ability to grow technical efforts and take on task leadership for the Company. Good problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to travel 6-12 trips per year with multiple destinations.
