Pm Bistro Attendant

We're looking for an enthusiastic PM Bistro Attendant who can deliver outstanding results at our hotel bar preparing signature cocktails and small plates. Your main responsibilities will be to open the Bar at 3 pm and follow Marriott standards to offer an unforgettable experience for all our hotel guests. You'll be required to keep your workstation and equipment clean and follow all required safety protocols. Good organization skills and multi-tasking skills go well for this position. 2 years of hospitality experience is required, and certification in food handler/server permit/tips is needed. Apply today for immediate consideration.Responsibilities:Abide by food safety guidelines and implement COVID-19 safety measures in all food prep areas and stations where food is prepared and kitchen equipment is usedPrepare recipes using the proper measurements needed for condiments and wash dice, and slice fruits and vegetables, and meats, for the variety of meals we prepare for customersUnderstand recipe instructions, measurements, meal charts, and labels written in English and use all measuring tools properlyPerform other basic cooking duties as necessary, such as brewing coffee or tea, preparing soups, reducing sauces, and assisting other cooks in the kitchen if neededKeep all prep and workstation areas organized and equipment hygienic and sanitized at closingQualifications:Experienced in the proper handling of kitchen equipment, sharp knives, and other kitchen toolsHave some experience prepping food and the ability to work under the head chef/cook with minor supervisionUnderstanding of how to read recipes, meal charts, measuring tools, and labels in EnglishMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as bend, pull heavy items, and stand on your feet for your entire shiftAbout Company:Feel welcome at Courtyard Vanderbilt/West End.
