Physical Therapy Tech

The Physical Therapy Tech assists in the delivery of therapy services under the supervision of a Manager and licensed staff Physical Therapist. This includes assisting with the cleaning and logging of equipment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Past experience in clinical setting is preferred. Responsibilities: Administers high quality physical therapy care efficiently as planned and directed under the supervisor of a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist. Assists patients/clients with the prescribed exercise program in an effective manner. Demonstrates competency in the application, utilization and monitoring of appropriate modalities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist to include, but not limited to electrical stimulation, ultrasound, hot/cold pack application and lymphatic drainage via pump. Cleans equipment and maintains logs (cleaning, temperature, and refrigerator). Assists with ordering supplies and equipment, through appropriate secretarial staff. Assists with data entry for the discharge process to ensure completion of patient information. Any other duties as assigned by Woman's Hospital. Schedule: Part-Time

Pay Range: Hourly/Non-Exempt
$17.00 – $24.00; based on work experience
