This position is responsible for receiving parts in a timely manner. Pricing out parts for estimates on retail, internal and wholesale clients. The counterperson also ensures that all part orders are correctly checked in the first time.
DUTIES: Pull parts for techs and wholesale customers in a professional and timely manner. Check-in orders to verify accuracy of shipments. Coordinate all shipping with freight companies. Verify that all parts go out the same day as requested. Record and maintain all new and current part numbers. Ensure stock in appropriate bins. Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of bins. Assist with claim processing paper work. In cases of damaged shipments, make correct notations for claim processing. Print all special order postcards and labels. Call wholesale and retail customers to inform them when parts have arrived. Perform copying, collating, and stapling of mailing materials. Assist in completion of yearly inventory. Taking on other duties as required. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Detailed clerical, inventory, and shipping/receiving experience. Prior shipping and receiving experience preferred. Parts driving experience preferred. Experience with CDK preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Valid Colorado driver's license and ability to qualify as insurable according to company standards. Job Related Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Automotive parts knowledge preferred. Ability to perform accurate and detailed work. Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
