Part-Time Special Education Teacher Assistant

We are searching for a patient, dedicated and motivated Special EducationTeacher Assistant to assist in developing and implementing appropriate activities to inspire and help our students to learn and grow in a safe and healthy environment. We are a Christian based daycare and are looking to hire a part-time Special Education Teacher Assistant with experience in creating learning opportunities based on the students' individual abilities and needs. Duties include:
Assist the Teacher with lessons for students with specific, individual educational needs. Assist the Teacher with different learning styles to keep the children engaged. Work with the Lead teacher at learning the right pace and growing in the best way possible. Collaborate with the Lead teacher to ensure the students can access additional support. Track the students' performance and celebrate their achievements. Participate in regular trainings and licensing to keep knowledge and credentials up to date. Assist the Teacher in developing both individual and group-focused activities for the students. Requirements Prior Experience working with children with special needs Compassionate and empathetic Trainings and experience with behavioral needs preferred
