Overnight Security & Grounds Maintenance (Boutique Hotel) Compensation: $16.00/hr

Position Summary:
1. Patrols and protects the Hotel property.
2. Contributes to grounds and property cleanliness.
3. Monitors alarms and security systems.
4. Monitors parking lot and executes enforcement.

How to be Impactful:
The Security Guard helps to create a positive experience for guests from the moment they
enter our hotel. The Security Guard is personable, service-oriented, organized, high
capacity, and adaptive.
A Day in the Life:
? Provides security and addresses any unsafe situations on Hotel property.
? Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance
equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
? Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy
and procedures; restraining trespassers.
? Escorts guests and hotel staff to and from Hotel property after hours.
? Removes belligerent guests, trespassers, and unauthorized persons from Hotel
property.
? Properly documents disturbances or incidents and notifies necessary authorities and
Hotel leadership.
? Partners with Hotel leadership to prevent safety issues and create and adapt
security plans.
? Maintains the safety and security of common areas by removing trash and cleaning
spills or messes.
? Responsible for ensuring the main level is cleaned nightly and parking lot is free of
debris.
? Performs other duties or special projects as assigned by Leadership.

Experience and Qualifications:
? High School diploma is required.
? Previous experience in Hotel or Hospitality Security preferred.
