Responsibilities
The optician will provide proper fitting eyewear, assist patients in frame and lens selection, order and verify eyeglasses, also perform adjustments and repairs. The Optician will stay up-to-date on any new innovations in frames and lenses through continuing education. Qualifications
Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous healthcare experience preferred with past optical experience a plus. Will provide on-the-job training for the right individual. Working knowledge of computer.
Preferred: Working knowledge of computer.
Preferred: Trained in CPR and Basic Life Support, Healthcare Provider level. Exemption Status
Nonexempt Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.; $19.05 - 26.14/ hour; Hours/Pay Period
