We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC & Plumbing Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and increase market share for our national accounts in the HVAC & Plumbing industry. You will work closely with our executive leadership team to ensure that we meet and exceed our sales targets while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue for national accounts in the HVAC & Plumbing industry
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national accounts
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and competitive landscape
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to ensure customer satisfaction and project success
Identify new business opportunities and work to expand our product and service offerings
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and execute effective sales and promotional campaigns
Provide regular reporting on sales activity and performance against targets
Attend industry events and trade shows to stay current on industry trends and network with potential customers
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the HVAC & Plumbing industry, with a proven track record of success in national accounts sales
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies and tactics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform sales decisions
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Skills and Competencies:
Ability to reach and exceed forecasted goals
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage key admin/reporting platforms
Ability to communicate effectively with different groups/individuals
Skill in public speaking and presenting information to large groups
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to develop a good working relationship
Able to work independently
Preferred Requirements:
Preference will be given to applicants who reside in the Continental US
