Job Summary:Bach to Rock - Tanasbourne, OR is seeking a talented and versatile Multi-instrumental Musician to join our growing team. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality music education to students of all ages and skill levels. As a multi-instrumentalist, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of instruments, including but not limited to guitar, piano, drums, and bass. You will be an individual contributor, working closely with students to help them achieve their musical goals and enhance their overall musical experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fun team of music educators and contribute to the growth of our franchise location.Compensation & Benefits:This is a part-time, exempt position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $20 to $25 per hour. You will be paid biweekly and have access to a comprehensive bonus package, paid time off, paid sick leave and advancement within the company.Responsibilities:Create and deliver engaging and comprehensive music lessons on various instruments to students of all ages and skill levels.Assist students in setting and achieving their musical goals.Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed.Collaborate with other music educators to develop lesson plans, curriculum, and performance opportunities.Maintain a clean and organized teaching space, including the proper care and storage of instruments and equipment.Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students.Communicate regularly with parents and students to provide updates on progress and upcoming events.Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Education.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Music or Music Education preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching multiple instruments required.Proficiency in one or multiple of: voice, guitar, piano, drums, and/ or bass required.Ability to read sheet music and teach music theory.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Passion for music education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.Must be organized, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Must pass a background check.EEOC Statement:Bach to Rock is an equal opportunity employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
