Medical Receptionist Team Lead

We are looking for a motivated Team Lead with impeccable customer service skills, leading the way to an exceptional patient experience. Multi-tasker with incredible attention to detail who has primary interest in working in the administrative functions of our medical practice. The applicant must be an independent thinker with a minimum of one year medical office experience (OB/GYN preferred) who will partner with our Front Desk Supervisor and ensure cohesiveness with team under her leadership .
Position: Medical Receptionist - FULL TIME

Responsibilities: Lead the way in greeting and welcoming patients as soon as they arrive at the office. Assist in scheduling staff and ensuring coverage for each provider's patients and schedules. Assist training for new hires. Set the example of Superior Quality Customer Service. Assist Front Desk Supervisor with implementation of new processes. Direct patients to the appropriate person and office. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing. Skills: Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar lead role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Computer experience in a medical office a plus. Professional attitude and appearance is a must. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise. Excellent organizational skills. Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
