Manager of Client Security & Compliance Department: Client Security and Compliance Reports to: General Manager Job Summary
The Manager of Client Security and Compliance will plan and coordinate activities of the Client Security and Compliance department personnel, projects, & clients. They will help design, implement, and enhance an information governance strategy and program to comply with privacy, confidentiality, and information-security related laws and regulations, and company policies and objectives. The scope of information governance encompasses personal information, company information, systems and infrastructure. This position is an interactive position and has a requirement to be in the office with other staff during the assigned shift. Some Hybrid office/home will be available after 3-6 months.

  Essential Functions Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines  Anticipate and direct program changes to support continued compliance with evolving information management and data protection of client objectives Respond to data security incidents and enhance the clients' data security incident response plan Assign and review the work of compliance and security analysts and engineers Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, or participate in staffing decisions Stay abreast of advances in technology, compliance, and information security Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess information security needs Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures Evaluate the client's technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades As a working manager, 50% of hours worked should be billable to clients 20-25 hours of billable time is expected weekly. Qualifications BA/BS degree in business or related field, or a combination of education and related experience providing equivalent knowledge At least five years relevant experience in compliance, legal, privacy, information security, or related area Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence the actions of internal stakeholders and manage relationships with clients Broad knowledge of information management and protection laws, regulations, and best practices Information governance experience, including in the areas of personal information, company information, systems, and infrastructure
