Maintenance Technician

Job summary
The Maintenance Technician supports R&D equipment during normal operations and is responsible for any corrective or preventative maintenance procedures within the facility.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Routinely inspect and maintain building and installed systems• Perform minor and routine repairs including painting, plumbing, and electrical wiring• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems• Create and maintain up-to-date service and replacement data files• Act as an agent for procurement of service contracts/repair work• Observe functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards and problems• Discuss performance issues and improvement ideas with staff• Implement and evaluate preventative maintenance program• Ensure compliance with all safety rules and procedures• Keep work area clean and orderly
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent• 3+ years of demonstrated work experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
