ABOUT YOU Do you have sales experience and are looking for a chance to join a close-knit, compassionate team of dedicated professionals? Our law firm is expanding and needs the help of another intake specialist to take our client relations to the next level and manage our growing caseload. The Legal Intake Specialist often provides the first impression of the firm to potential clients and plays a vital role in providing our clients with excellent service by completing phone interviews and gathering information pertinent to their potential cases as well as meeting with clients as necessary.
What are some characteristics that our Intake Specialist should have?
Our Intake Specialist must possess a positive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and be able to listen with an understanding ear. Our Intake Specialist must be comfortable using technology, accustomed to high standards, able to follow procedures, and be able to adhere to well-defined policies. Our Intake Specialist must also be a responsible and dependable self-starter who can critically think and problem-solve. Prior customer service experience is required, appreciated, and valued, but personality, character, intelligence, and integrity will be paramount considerations. Our Intake Specialist must be able to empathize with potential new clients and must be able to stay calm and gather information, even when the potential new client is upset. You must be a quick learner and able to use technology. Experience working at a law firm and using a CRM are a plus, however, experience with data tracking and reporting is required. We only want people who are not afraid of computers or learning new things that will make their job easier. You must be a team player. You will be working with other team members to deliver an outstanding experience for our clients. You must respect, appreciate, and understand that how we work together internally has a direct impact on how we are perceived externally. Sales or customer service experience highly valued for correspondence with clients Exceptional customer service skills, professional appearance, effective communication with others, and understanding of a multi-line phone system in a busy office environment Assist in opening new cases in our CRM (FileVine experience is a plus) Full familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite Solid Excel skills for data entry and spreadsheet management High school diploma or GED is a requirement; Bachelor's degree is a plus HOW TO APPLY Documents required: Your Resume and a Cover Letter.
