Job Summary: Allegis Group develops enterprise scale applications to support the full spectrum of business solutions for talent recruiting, staffing, and related resource management systems. The Lead Developer supports the organization's existing software or systems infrastructure along with developing new technologies as needed primarily on the Salesforce platform.
Along with development and team mentoring, the Lead Developer is responsible for participating & leading agile ceremonies and contributing to story pointing and solutioning.
This position is a key member of a product delivery team, interacting with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, QA testers, Architects, Scrum Masters, Vendors, and more. Develops program logic for new applications and analyzes logic in existing applications for enhancements and changing business requirements.
The Individual in this position has achieved, through significant work experience, a deep, specialized expertise in a critical element of the discipline and/or has expanded his/her expertise to include multiple related disciplines.
The Lead Developer will provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship. This role will represent and guide our development team setting the pace, path, and standard for all programming activities. The lead developer also works with product owners and architects to improve technical processes.
Responsibilities Essential Functions: Participate in story development and solutioning. Participate in daily & weekly Agile Ceremonies. Create level of effort (LOE) and duration estimates for assigned work. Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view. Maintains and updates Agile Stories & Task. Codes, tests, and supports existing and new systems and applications using Salesforce best practices. Maintains a working knowledge of business concepts for the organization Complies with Code Quality and Test Coverage Standards Provide development support for analysis and functional and load testing Works with Admin Teams to troubleshoots and escalate issues Provides System maintenance and after-hours support, as needed Supervisory or Managment Responsbilitiy: With management guidance and support, will provide training, mentoring, and support for assigned team members both on-shore and off-shore. Qualifications Minimum Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (preferred) Experience Cloud Consultant Certification a must Experience (Community) Cloud expert with 5+ years of SFDC development experience Salesforce Platform Developer 1 & 2 Certifications 3-5 years minimum hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components and Aura Development Web development experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript Experience developing for Salesforce Communities 3-5 or 5-8 years of hands-on experience in APEX, Visualforce, Lightning components, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Java, or other object-oriented languages with solid understanding of object-oriented programming/design Skills/Abilities: Salesforce Sharing & Security Model Salesforce Flow, Process Builder Salesforce Declarative Process/Flow Tool/Approval Process/etc. Salesforce Apex – Triggers/Batch Processing Rest/Soap Services understanding External Data Usage and Concepts UI development technologies such as JavaScript, JS Frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery etc.), HTML5 concepts, CSS abstraction (Less, SASS etc.) SAFe Agile Framework and Principles GitHub/Change Management Tools Core Competencies: Build relationships Develop people Lead change Inspire Others Think critically Communicate clearly Create accountability Benefits of working as a Lead Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer in Hanover, MD:
