Discover your exciting roleThis position is for Exyte's ATF Semiconductor Tool Install Engineering Group. This position will be responsible for the QA/QC of the electrical design of tool install design packages. Responsibilities include but are not limited to quality assurance checks of tool install packages, participating in QA/QC workgroup meetings, and support QA/QC reporting. Candidates should be highly organized and detail oriented, have excellent time management skills with a strong work ethic. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Must be a strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships with individuals, department leads, and client representatives. Candidates should be energetic and self motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to resolve conflict and solve problems which leading by example. Candidates are required to have an understanding of NEC electrical requirements, and be able to calculate voltage drop, wire sizes, conduit / raceway size, and size circuit breakers. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Basic understanding of AutoCad and Bluebeam is a plus. Semi-conductor experience is preferred but not required.
This is a hybrid position with the candidate working 3 days a week at our Chandler, AZ location and 2 days a week from home.
Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesDevelops electrical construction documents using architectural background layouts and system performance requirements defined by the project team including the architect, engineer and project manager Coordinates with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering/ internal and external) Participate in pre-design project activities, such as site assessment, site plan review, and verification of as built conditions Works with project team to find optimum system sizing, routing, materials, and space management for equipment and electrical distribution systems Performs equipment selection research and develop recommendations Participates in Services during Construction, including responding to RFIs, shop drawing and submittal review, site observation, preparation of field-issued sketches, participation in construction meetings, and preparation of preliminary and final punch lists, and as-built drawings Executes work within approved budgets, develop progress reports, and interface with clients and others Develops projects in compliance with engineering codes, standards, principles, relevant specifications and contractual requirements Produces construction documents and calculations under the supervision of a Professional Engineer and coordinate with other disciplines Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables Supports business development activities, including preparation of materials for qualifications, proposals, and interviews Performs technical tasks using applicable standards, procedures and codes Performs quality control reviews of work developed by others Provides technical expertise for studies and design efforts Mentors interns and junior members of project teams Other duties as assigned Show your expertiseGood time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to details Competent in the use of Autodesk Building Systems Software Individual must possess strong communication and organizational skills Strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships Energetic and self-motivated Ability to manage 5+ staff Ability to perform calculations: power (load, fault, voltage drop, etc.), lighting, feeder sizing, electrical equipment sizing and the like Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
