Opportunity: Join a thriving residential and commercial landscape company in Dallas, GA, as a Landscape Design/Sales Professional. This dynamic role blends your creative design expertise with your passion for sales, allowing you to craft stunning outdoor spaces while building lasting relationships with clients.
Mission: You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of design/build landscape projects, from initial client consultation and design concept development to final project execution. Your ability to translate client visions into beautiful, functional landscapes, while effectively managing projects and budgets, will be key to your success.
Responsibilities: Client Relationships: Build rapport and establish trust with residential and commercial clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and budget constraints. Design Expertise: Create innovative and aesthetically pleasing landscape designs that incorporate best practices, sustainable solutions, and plant materials suitable for the North Georgia climate. Project Management: Oversee project planning, including budgeting, material selection, and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers. Sales & Closing: Present design proposals to clients, highlighting the value and benefits of your design solutions, and skillfully negotiate contracts to secure projects. Implementation & Oversight: Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution, address any issues that arise, and maintain open communication with clients throughout the process. Client Satisfaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project and beyond, providing post-sales support and guidance to maximize the value of their investment. Qualifications: Education: Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Landscape Contracting, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape design/build, with a proven track record of successful project completion and client satisfaction. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, DynaScape (or similar landscape design software), SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and other relevant design tools. Plant Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of plant materials suitable for the North Georgia climate, including their growth habits, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic qualities. Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present ideas, explain technical concepts, and build rapport with clients. Organizational Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
