Laborer

Job Description:  Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified individual to join the manufacturing team as a general shop laborer. This is a full-time position in our Fowlerville, MI headquarters.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and preparing various elements of custom bullet resistant barrier components. We operate at a fast pace, and bullet resistant glass is a unique material to work with; but if you're willing to work hard and learn we will teach you everything you need to know to be successful here. Qualifications Hard worker with multi-tasking ability that can perform in fast paced environments Ability to follow instructions and pick things up quickly Initiative to learn new things and apply them to your trade Ability to continuously stand or walk Ability to lift up to 80 pounds frequently Ability to squat occasionally Willingness to work in various departments (glass, steel, aluminum, wood) depending on production requirements Prior shop experience preferred Experience operating heavy machinery preferred Successful candidates will demonstrate: High energy level Curious nature Collaborative work ethic Commitment to excellence Mindset of continuous improvement Willingness to take on additional responsibilities
