Responsibilities
• Review, interpret, and code medical records for assigned specialty• Ensure accurate coding and adherence to coding guidelines• Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation• Stay up-to-date with coding changes and guidelines• Maintain confidentiality of patient information• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements• Meet productivity and quality standards• Attend training sessions and workshops as required• Contribute to team meetings and discussions• Assist in other coding-related tasks as needed
Requirements
• Highly experienced in Interventional Radiology coding• Proficient in CPT and Neurology coding• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills• Ability to work independently and remotely• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy• Understanding of coding guidelines and regulations• Certification in medical coding preferred• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems• Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines
