The Role:
Join eBay's Seller Experience division, a pivotal part of the eBay marketplace. The Seller Experience team concentrates on holistic digital experiences for our sellers, ensuring a seamless journey to list, sell, and expand a thriving business on eBay. Our sellers are paramount, and our product, engineering, and design teams are dedicated to crafting top-notch experiences that resonate with our eBay seller community.
You will spearhead a product sector within our seller mobile and web experiences alongside supporting tools. Your role involves defining the product strategy for one or more seller-facing experiences, prioritizing a roadmap that harmonizes our platforms and services to deliver a cohesive and tailored experience for our diverse seller communities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize Customer Satisfaction & Experience Quality: Demonstrate an unwavering dedication to listening to our end-users and integrating their feedback into our product development journey. Collaborate with design and research teams to gather insights and feedback across the product lifecycle, fostering continuous improvement processes.

- Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams within eBay to align strategies, garner support across functions such as analytics, marketing, operations, sales, and strategy.

- Transform customer insights, quantitative and qualitative data, and business strategies into actionable product concepts and requirements.

- Understand eBay's strategic position in the market for sellers and deliver industry-leading products.

- Perform competitive analysis to assess strengths and weaknesses of rival offerings.

- Deconstruct features into manageable tasks, employing Agile methodologies to craft actionable epics, user stories, bugs, and technical specifications for prioritized product features.

- Gain a deep understanding of technical architecture and design to identify dependencies, collaborating with Engineering partners to define scopes and timelines.

- Engage in regular meetings with program managers and stakeholders to monitor progress, identify risks, and report status to leadership.

- Drive engineering discussions to translate customer problems into functional and technical requirements and architectural solutions, making trade-off decisions based on engineering effort and customer impact.

- Collaborate closely with engineers during software development, review test cases, and lead software testing sessions to ensure high-quality products meeting SLAs.

- Coordinate software releases, including documentation, training, and marketing efforts, maximizing the impact of end-to-end product solutions.

Requirements:
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- Strong customer empathy.
- A passion for crafting exceptional user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Solid technical acumen, experience managing software products using agile methodologies.
- Customer-centric mindset and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in writing clear, comprehensive, and implementable user stories and specifications.
- Exceptional project management skills for cross-group collaboration.
- Design thinking and problem-solving abilities to devise innovative solutions.
- Capability to work autonomously and drive projects with multiple components.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a product manager focusing on user-facing products.
- Experience in e-commerce as a seller, product manager, or frequent buyer would be beneficial.
