Job Description Summary:
The Store Manager plans and directs the day-to-day operations of the store. Develop strategies to improve
customer service, drive store sales, increase profitability, create store policies and marketing programs
that will increase sales and grow the existing customer base.

Sales Generation:
1. Consistently meet and exceed sales goals.
2. Develop store management and associate's sales techniques.
3. Actively manage clientele applications.
4. Co-manage social media to generate virtual sales.
5. Identify business opportunity areas in individual store and market.
6. Collaborate with all departments to implement business driving strategies.
Customer Experience:
1. Creating the best possible customer service, nurture long-lasting relationships with our Hemline
customers and wow new shoppers into becoming loyal customers.
2. Maintain a warm, helpful and authentic shopping environment.
3. Demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency in "selling floor readiness" prior to the store
opening and throughout shift.
4. Identify and implement out of box opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
5. Oversee the management of customer special orders and follow-ups.
6. Maintain floor presence to assist customers and monitor client interaction with both team and
technology.
7. Identify future customer opportunities by understanding product and service requirements.
Operations:
1. Maintain consistent inventory accuracy.
2. Uphold seamless store operational procedures.
3. Ensure facility maintenance, presentation and organization. Merchandising / Visual:
1. Ensure the selling floor reflects the brand and concept standards at all times.
2. Provide real-time and weekly feedback on product and sales performance.
3. Ensure inventory levels and product assortments meet customers needs.
4. Ensure online shopping experience mimics the in store experience and reflects seasonal changes,
shifts in featured product and always maintains the highest levels of branding standards.
People & Culture:
1. Consistently identify talent needs and work with Store Manager on acquiring the talent.
2. Display a dedicated approach to motivate, develop and retain talent.
3. Consistently provide performance feedback to ensure growth, change and results.
4. Support all training and customer experience programs.

1. 3+ years relevant store management experience in a fast-paced, creative retail environment.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Moderate excel skills and ability to analyze reporting.

Work Environment:
The role primarily takes place in a retail store environment, with occasional interactions required in office
settings.
Physical Demands:
1. Stand and walk for extended periods on the sales floor.
2. Lift and carry merchandise, including moving boxes and garment racks.
3. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
4. Bend, stoop, and reach to assist customers and arrange displays.
5. Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management both verbally and in writing.
6. Use a computer and POS system for sales transactions and inventory management.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Work Hours:
Regular working hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to
accommodate the dynamic nature of the retail environment.
