Position Overview: As General Counsel, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and addressing legal risks across our organization. Working closely with our executive leadership team, you'll provide strategic advice and expertisewithin our diverse community.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with executive leadership on legal and risk management issues. Develop and oversee a risk management framework to mitigate legal and financial exposure. Provide counsel on major decisions and organizational transactions. Manage outside legal counsel and budgets. Serve as the primary contact for reviewing and advising on various contracts. Supervise and support a team of professionals, promoting diversity and inclusion. Qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Active membership in the Oregon State Bar. 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare. Strong analytical and communication skills. Core Competencies: Sound decision-making and confidentiality. Effective interpersonal skills and cultural competence. Proactive problem-solving abilities. Working Conditions: Primarily located at Cascadia's Administrative Office in NE Portland. Hybrid schedule with two days in-office and three days remote.
