Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and qualified Virtual Special Education Teachers to join our client's dynamic virtual teaching team. As a 1099 contractor, you will collaborate with a team of passionate educators to deliver exceptional virtual special education instruction to students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide engaging and inclusive virtual instruction tailored to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive virtual learning environment.
Utilize technology and digital tools to enhance the virtual learning experience.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes a sense of belonging for all students.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Valid Michiganteaching license with endorsements in Special Education.
Must have a Math Endorsement
Experience in virtual or online teaching.
Knowledge of virtual learning platforms and educational technology.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
