Responsibilities
• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.• Manage the reservation system and take guest bookings.• Seat guests promptly, considering special requests and preferences.• Communicate with guests regarding wait times, menus, and promotions.• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station.• Collaborate with the bar team for smooth seating and table turnover.• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints.• Adhere to health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.• Maintain knowledge of menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods.
Requirements
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs and remain calm and courteous.• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.• Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.• Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required.• Physical requirements: constant standing, walking, bending, and twisting.• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
