The Founding Middle School Teachers are responsible for implementing the ChattAcademy vision and providing support to students and families.They play a critical role in establishing the school's academic program, policies, and procedures.They report to the Middle School Principal.

Responsibilities
• Implement the ChattAcademy vision on a daily basis• Provide support to students and families• Establish the school's academic program, policies, and procedures• Collaborate with peers and manage up to improve the work environment• Deliver consistent and timely results to reach goals• Maintain a high bar for academic excellence and a human-centered view of kids and families• Pay attention to detail, precision, and accuracy• Effectively manage instructional methods and behavior management strategies• Promote social-emotional learning and whole child development• Build excellent communication and relationships with others
Requirements
• Bilingual preferred; native speaker highly preferred• Unwavering commitment to ChattAcademy's mission/vision• Deep respect for the assets of children, families, and the community• Founder's mindset and creative problem-solving skills• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to regulate emotions under stress• Ability to collaborate with peers and manage up to improve work• Strong project and time management skills• Experience teaching at the middle school level preferred• Knowledge of effective instructional methods and behavior management strategies• Strong content expertise in core subjects• Commitment to social-emotional learning and whole child development• Growth mindset and passion for shaping school culture• Excellent communication and relationship building skills• TN Teacher's Licensure
