Job Summary The Financial Aid Counselor is upbeat and positive as they serve as the face of our continually growing institution, and plays a critical role in delivering financial aid services to Sheridan College students. As a member of the Enrollment Services team this position is responsible for maintaining an effective scholarship application and awarding process, and the day-to-day management and administration for institutional and foundation scholarship allocations.

Responsibility/Duty As a member of the Enrollment Services Team,
Ensure that goals, objectives, plans, budgets, policies, practices, and actions produce desired student outcomes consistent with the overall mission and strategic plan. Practice and promote continuous improvement principles. Promote teamwork and cooperation between departments. Percentage of time 30%
Responsibility/Duty Provide in-depth financial aid counseling to prospective students, current students, and parents regarding financial aid opportunities including: FAFSA application, scholarship applications, eligibility guidelines and resources.

Responsibility/Duty Responsible for administration of the Sheridan College scholarship program to include institutional, private, and State of Wyoming – Hathaway Scholarships. Provide recommendations on institutional and foundational scholarship allocations to ensure institutional goals and donor specifications are met. Coordinate and conduct scholarship information presentations on and off campus.
