The Student Life Undergraduate Intern(s) will support the Office of Student Life at The Ohio State University by working 20 hours per week on various Student Life strategic priorities, student and staff initiatives, and other programmatic efforts.
Working with Sorority and Fraternity Life (SFL) the intern will gain event-planning experience through assistance in conceptualizing and planning a large-scale community-wide event that will take place in the Fall; build outreach and communication skills through creation of newsletters for SFL stakeholders including students, Inter/National Headquarters, etc.; develop familiarity with assessment tools through synthesizing data points related to programming and chapter goals; gain an awareness and understanding of the landscape of culturally based SFL organizations through relevant research and benchmarking. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED; experience with Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a team environment; ability to accept direction, work independently and be detail-oriented; excellent written and oral communication skills for a variety of audiences.
